2. Move your R foot slightly to your R to 1:00 to execute R inward/L outward combination blocks outside of opponent’s L arm. (As your L block finishes, you should be in a R forward bow.)
3. Immediately contour to his arm as you thrust your L fingers up to opponent’s eyes.
4. Follow-up by pivoting L into a horse as your L hand grabs his L arm to pull down toward your L hip and you deliver a R punch to opponent’s L ribcage.
5. Pivot counterclockwise to 6:00 and slide your R foot between his legs for rear hook kick to his groin. From the point of contact of your R kick, plant your R down as you execute a R uppercut forearm strike under opponent’s L elbow.
6. Grab opponent’s head on his R side with your R hand. Have your L hand simultaneously grab the back of his head from the L side. Drag your L foot to your R and shoot your R foot back to 2:00 into a R reverse bow to buckle opponent’s L leg as you simultaneously jerk your his head down to flip him over to the ground on his back.
7. With opponent now on his back with his head between your feet, pivot to 9:00 and drop into a R close kneel stance as your L knee drops down to his L collarbone or neck.
8. Bounce up and have your L heel scrape across opponent?s chest before landing to pinch his R ribs. Step to 9:00 over opponent’s head into a L twist stance. Pivot counterclockwise 3/4 of a circle to execute a R looping downward round kick into his groin.

THRUSTING PRONGS (front bear hug — arms pinned)

(view video)

1. Step back with your R foot (to 6:00) into a L modified forward bow and thrust both of your thumbs (keeping thumbs together) up into opponent’s groin.
2. Strike opponent’s groin with your R knee as your L hand circles under and around on top of opponent’s R shoulder (forming the shape of the crane) and pins (with the assistance of your anchored L elbow) his R shoulder down. Your R hand grips on top of same shoulder.
3. With knee in groin, immediately deliver a R knife-edge kick (to 2:00) to inside of opponent’s L shin and scrape down.
4. As you plant, deliver a R inward horizontal elbow strike to R side of opponent’s face.

9. Land into a R front crossover and cover out toward 7:00.

GRASP OF DEATH (left flank headlock)

(view video)

1. You?re bent forward as opponent is to your L applying a headlock with his R arm. Begin by tucking your chin to the L and against your chest, grab your opponent’s R wrist with your R hand. All this is done as your R foot steps forward toward 12:00 into a R close kneel stance to check opponent?s leg with your L. Simultaneously, grab opponent’s groin with your L hand. Be sure you continue checking the outside of your opponent’s R leg with your L knee.
2. As your opponent reacts to your pinch and releases his grip, your R hand brings his R arm over your head and down to your chest, making sure that your R forearm angles diagonally while acting as a check.
3. Immediately release the grip of your L hand and have your L foot step forward around opponent?s leg into a L neutral bow stance as you simultaneously strike the back of your opponent’s R elbow with your L forearm while pulling in and toward you with your R hand. (This action should cause your opponent to step forward with his L foot prior to bending over at the waist).
4. Roll your L forearm on the back of your opponent’s R elbow until your L forearm is parallel to the ground. Now slide your L hand to your opponent’s right elbow. While controlling your opponent’s R elbow with your L hand, pivot into a L forward bow, facing 11:00. Immediately execute a R snapping vertical punch to the base of your opponent’s skull, behind his R mastoid bone.

TRIPPING ARROW (front bear hug — arms free)

1. With feet together and opponent applying front bear hug under your arms, step to your L with your L foot (to 9:00) into a horse and check his R shoulder with your L hand by forcing it down to nullify possibility of a knee kick. Simultaneously, hook your R palm heel horizontally in to strike opponent’s L jaw. (See FINGER SET 1).
2. Immediately circle your R foot (?cat around?) clockwise around opponent’s R leg as your R palm chambers in front of opponent?s chest.
3. Without hesitation, pivot to your L into a L forward bow as you thrust your R palm heel to his sternum to trip him over your R leg, still maintaining L hand grab on his R arm.
4. With opponent on his back and your L hand still grabbing his R wrist, have your R foot heel stomp to his jaw as you pull up on the arm. Your R foot steps over his chest with a R stomp side of his L arm (inside or outside) to break.
5. Still holding opponent’s R wrist, pivot counter-clockwise and drop into a L close kneel to 10:00 so your R knee strikes down to opponent’s sternum. Immediately, follow with a R two-finger poke down to his eyes.
6. Spring up and rotate your body counterclockwise to kick away opponent?s R arm with your R foot. As your R foot plants under his R arm, your L foot steps back over his L hip. Drop into a R close kneel to strike opponent’s abdomen with your L knee.
7. Spring up again, rotating counterclockwise as you pivot on your L foot into a L close kneel stance and bury your R knee into opponent’s groin.

Simultaneously deliver a L back elbow to his solar plexus followed by L hammer fist to groin (See OBSCURE WING).

5. Set your L foot behind your R (to 2:00) into a R front twist stance as you execute a L outward claw to the L side of his head. Pivot into a R neutral bow for a R inward hammer fist to the jaw. 2. Immediately bend your L knee (marriage of gravity) and pivot R to a rear bow stance as you deliver a R back heel kick to opponent’s L inside knee. Then with the knife-edge of same foot, kick to opponent’s R shin and scrape all the way down to stomp instep with your heel.
3. From your L stomp, shift your L foot slightly to 12:00 as you simultaneously shoot your R foot back to 7:00 into a R reverse bow buckling out the inside of opponent’s L leg and strike his groin with your R hammer fist.
5. Immediately, step your R foot to 2:00 into a R neutral bow so to buckle out the inside of opponent’s R knee. (This should cause him to fall onto his back with legs spread apart.)
6. Execute a L rear crossover that strikes the groin followed by a R rear kick to opponent’s face.
7. Step into a R front crossover and cover out to 10:00.

5. Slide your R hammerfist up opponent’s body so it becomes a R palm strike to his jaw and your L hand checks his R shoulder as your L foot moves slightly to your L into a wide L neutral bow.
6. Push opponent’s R shoulder with your L hand to turn him counterclockwise (away from you) as your R hand grabs his chin. Hold his chin down securely as you execute a R knee kick to the back.

With your feet together and your opponent’s arm around you, step off toward 9 o’clock with your L foot into a horse stance, facing 12:00, as you simultaneously pin your opponent’s hands (to your body) with your L hand. Just as your weight settles into your horse stance execute a R back hammer fist strike to your opponent’s groin.
2. Immediately bring your R foot into a right cat stance (turning 90 degrees while facing 3 o’clock) as your L hand releases the pin, clears your opponent’s left arm and covers the front of your face as a check. Simultaneous with the action of your L arm have your R vertical obscure elbow strike straight up to underside of opponent?s chin.
