Coordination Set 2
Note: Coordination Set 2 consists of ten sets of identical actions ending with an 11th set that serves to close.
The first two are executed facing 12, the second to 9, the third to 6,
the fourth to 3, and the final two are back toward 12.
The left foot is the stationary pivot except when it is lifted to kick or step down into a training horse stance.
Start from the meditating horse stance facing 12:00.
SET 1:
1. R foot steps back to 6:00 so you’re facing 12:00 in a L neutral bow as you execute a L vertical outward block with a R outside down block. Reverse to a R outward block and a L outside down block.
2. Execute a L upward block as you simultaneously execute a R inward hammer fist while in a L forward bow.
3. Circle, executing a R upward block and a L inward hammer fist while in a L neutral bow.
5. Shift into a L forward bow as you execute a R inward block as your L fist chambers at your hip.
6. Execute a R front snap kick and a L forward punch.
7. Without landing, execute a R rear kick and a R snap punch.
8. Land in a L forward bow and execute a L upward parry overhead combined with a R palm thrust chest
high.
SET 11 (Closing):
1. R foot steps back to a horse stance, facing 12:00, as arms cross down then execute double outward blocks followed by outside down blocks.
2. Fists roll out/up/in for double inverted back knuckle strikes to head.
3. Fists roll down/in for double hammer strikes to ribs.
4. From point of reference, shoot double punches out. Open your hands and circle in toward your face then out (palms forward) to execute double forward palm heel thrusts.
Bring your hands into salute, come to attention stance and bow.
